Title

Letter from George Murray to his daughter Barbara, 21.9.15

Description

21.9.15
My Dear Barbara
Just a note to let you know that Mammie asked me to write to you. So you can tell your teacher that Daddie has written to you but owing to the censor could not give you much news. There are lots of tortoises out here & Sam Patterson my batman has got a pet one & called it Jacob. It is only a tiny one but there are lots of big ones. If it was not for the war, this would be a nice place, lots of heather & wild flowers you could not get a very nice posy just now. I hope you are getting on well at the school & turning out a real clever body. With love and kisses from your loving Daddy.
G. Murray
