A family affair at Carsphairn
The Cuthbertson family of Craigenbay, New Galloway, had something worth celebrating at last weekend’s Carsphairn centenary show, when Bert Cuthbertson (right), landed the confined championship and the reserve supreme championship in the Blackface sheep section while his wife Isobel took the McLellan Cup for most points in the industrial section.
Also in the picture is son Charles who helped his father with his entries. See show reports and pictures on pages 8, 9 and 15.

An interested spectator at Carsphairn show on Friday was Mr T Fergusson, Carminnows, Carsphairn, an honorary president, who has given over 40 years' service to the committee.
