All that remains today of the top row of houses where Charles Wilson, the overseer and late manager of the mine spent so much of his life. This row has been occupied within living memory.
This photograph shows the interior of the schoolhouse, presumably the living room. The photograph was probably taken in the 1880’s long after the school was closed.
