Carsphairn's village hall is called Lagwyne Hall, named for the near-by Lagwyne Mansion, childhood home of John McAdam, inventor of macadamisation.
The hall offers excellent meeting and event facilities and is available to hire at very reasonable rates.
The hall is regularly used by community groups and local services including Post Office outreach, weekly Yoga sessions, Craft Group, and School PE sessions.
The hall has free Wifi throughout and and automatic air-source heating.
The hall is wheel-chair accessible via a permanent ramp and had a disabled toilet compartment as well as Ladies and Gents.
A portable white board is available for use.
Lagwyne Hall is on the A713, opposite the Heritage Centre on the right as you head out of the village towards Ayr.

There are 10 parking spaces in front of the hall with more available across the road at the Heritage Centre and on the street.
